ACADEMY NEWS

13 - 16. III. 2009  E.S.A. AT IWA - NURNBERG / GERMANY

The Norymberg Fair were very important for ESA. The special approach was due to academy's double scope. Bart „Valdez”Bryl, who is responsible for academy's international projects, was in charge of ESA's stand in the Law Enforcement Hall. He was supported by two agents-operators connected with DELTA GROUP – Tom Van Watermeuelen (Belgium) and Jonathan McGowan (Germany). A great crew with experience gained throughout the ESA trainings, was able to entirely present the academy's offer to the customers. Being at customers' disposal, the agents introduced a wide range of academy training courses and other. The courses presented in details included CP, PMC and Shooting Seminars. Fair visitors had also the opportunity to see brochures and DVD's revealing ESA's logistic potential. Needless to say, that the stand was visited in large numbers. We established many business contacts, which have already brought on long-lasting contracts with very serious clients, especially those from the governmental areas. What is more, we encouraged our visitors to take up courses in our facility in Poland - Delta Special Training Center. In addition, they were also informed about the possibility of our instructors taking part in outside training courses. These are the PMC courses in the high-risk countries, namely in Africa, Russia and its neighbouring countries. Our instructors also presented their special programme – aimed into the state and private agencies, giving the possibility of sending the instructors/agents to training courses in foreign countries. Additionally, there was also a chance to get information about the protection offer and the structure and training scheme within ESA – DEP. ESA training courses are based on the feasible combat systems reflecting reality as accurately as possible, each of which performed with real guns, corresponding to the training type, the unit that is using it and its country of origin.

The ESA founder – dr Andrzej Bryl, favoured the IWA fair with his presence. His visit was due exclusively to personally meet with the contracting parties and partners of his academy. He took part in the series of meetings including firearms manufacturers, CEOs of training and security companies, firearms traders' lobbyists. Furthermore, he strolled through the alleys filled with firearms and special equipment with the view of ordering new arms for ESA. The outcome is the large firearms supply going straight to academy warehouse, which will definitely enrich our training course offer. Hence, ESA equipment includes numerous rare and unique gun models. Consequently, the presence of Delta Group concern owner enhanced the academy's credibility in the international market. Dr Andrzej Bryl also gave a foretaste of both ESA and consortium training possibilities. Meeting with old friends became extremely interesting for both sides, but what is more important, it reflected ESA's strong position in the world map of security and training organizations.

The complete ESA offer and its scope will be presented in the nearest MILIPOL fair, on which we are kindly inviting.
