12. II. 2009 E.S.A. PRESS CONFERENCE - WROCLAW / POLAND
European Security Academy press conference took place on 12th February 2009 in Luxury Hotels-Sofitel, Wrocław.
The conference gathered together over 30 representatives of national and foreign media: press, radio, TV as well as The Polish News Agency.
In addition to that, Strategic Studies Center and Terrorism Research Center also took part in the conference.
The academy was represented by:
1. Colonel Jan Szpak – Delta Group Managing Director, specializing in security law and regulations, expert on preventive maintenance;
2. Dr Andrzej Bryl, Delta Group owner, ESA founder, famous globetrotter and adventurer, expert on marital arts and confrontation combat systems;
3. Captain Wojciech Żmija –coordinator of performed security, political science specialist, expert on counterterrorism legal aspects, trained by the U.S. Department of Justice – Federal Bureau of Investigation
4. Tomasz ‘Rapid’ –operating agent and shooting instructor – the fastest pistol-shooting Close protection agent, instructor in the Counterterrorism Center in Moscow, as an agent he performed several dozens of Close Protection operation worldwide.
The conference began with the presentation of video from Operators Seminar and discussing the area of ESA activity. The journalists asked the academy representatives about ESA’s audits and trainings scheme. Delta Executive Protection, which acts within the ESA, raised the biggest interest. Furthermore, photos from trainings carried worldwide – especially in Russia and Africa, made a great impression on the conference participants.
